Applications are invited for the post of project fellow (vacancy due to resignation of PF) in UGC sponsored UPE-Focused Area of Research Project as given below at the Department of Botany, UCS, OU, Hyderabad — 7.

Title of the project  Isolation, characterization and testing of the efficacy of Magnoflorine and other such compounds as aldose reductase inhibitors for treatment of diabetes.

No of Fellowships 1

Qualifications: M.Sc. Botany with minimum 55% marks (50 % for SC/STs) and Botany as one of the optionals at B.Sc., meritorious academic record.

Desirable: Candidates with experience in Plant tissue culture, Plant physiology techniques, chromatographic techniques etc will be preferred.

Fellowship: Rs. 14000/- p.m (Consolidated/Fixed)
