National Institute of Hydrology the premier Institute in the area of hydrology and water resources in India. The Institute was established in 1978 with the main objective of undertaking, aiding, promoting and coordinating systematic and scientific work in all aspects of hydrology. The Institute has its Headquarters at Roorkee in Uttarakhand, four regional centres at Belgaum, Jammu, Kakinada and Bhopal and two centres for Flood Management Studies at Guwahati and Patna. The Institute is well equipped to carry out computer, laboratory and field oriented studies.
Eligibility Criteria for NIH Recruitment :
Educational Qualification :
* For Resource Persons in Junior: Complete B.Tech. in Civil or Agricultural, Computer Science and Information Technology Engineering Or M.Sc. in Environmental Science OR M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Chemistry, En vironmental Science, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology or B.Tech. Chemical or MetallurgyEngg.OR MCA or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT.
* For Resource Persons in Senior: Complete Master degree in Geology/Geophysics with minimum 15 years of working experiences in the field of hydrogeology OR P.G. Degree in Water Resources/Hydrology/Civil Engg., Ph.D in science (in relevant field) minimum 6 years experience.
Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : Candidates Maximum Age Should be 30 Years
